Lima Finds a Much Needed Triple up

Three players arrived at a board of A♥4♠5♣. Both the small blind and Elson Lima in the big blind checked the action to the button who bet out for 7,000. The small blind called while Lima elected to shove all in for his last 18,000.

Neither opponent folded and a potential triple up was pending for Lima.

The hand was checked to a showdown as the full board read A♥4♠5♣3♦8♠. Lima was the first to show as he tabled A♦8♣ for a rivered two pair. Both other players mucked.

JJ Liu raised in first position to 7,000 to which the cutoff and button both called. The small blind took this opportunity to squeeze, jamming all in for 86,000.

Michael Baker in the big blind seemingly didn't have too much of a decision on his hands as he instantly re-jammed for 133,000. All remaining players folded.

Burlacu Making a Run

The pot on the flop was about 45,000 and came out 3♥A♥5♠. Robert Burlacu, once checked to, put the pressure on the player in the small blind with a short stack and bet 5,000.

The player in the small blind position hesitated but then threw his chips into the pot.

Ravalet Avoids Karma to Double Up

Following a raise from Max De Meyrick, Bastien Ravalet moved the rest of his depleted all in from the big blind. De Meyrick snap called, and rolled over K♥K♦.

Ravalet showed his A♥A♠, and then turned away from the table, not watching his fate play out. "I cracked aces with kings earlier. This is just karma!" he said, expecting to lose.

But karma had other ideas and dropped an entirely clean Q♠5♣3♠2♥4♦ runout for the double up.

The player first to act raised to 6,000 which met the three-bet of Adrian State bumping the bet up to 21,000. The player called and both players saw the flop of 3♥8♦2♣. State took a stab for 8,000, but his opponent did not back down.

The 4♥ came on the turn and State piled in the rest of his stack for 51,000. Too much for his opponent, the player folded and State stacked the chips.
