The turn came the Q♥ and Obst bet again. Zektser called all in as the 10♠ fell on the river.

Zektser turned over 7♣5♥K♦A♠ and gave a fist pump as he thought he won the hand, but Obst had 7♥3♥6♥Xx for a pair of sixes to win the pot and eliminate Zektser in eighth place.

"Now I can take an extra-long dinner break," Zektser said as he made his exit.

The board ran out 7♦4♣8♦3♥J♦ and Cartwright made a straight to win the high, while Gilbert's ace-deuce earned him the low as Kelley was eliminated in ninth place.

Obst and Zektser Chop One Up Before Dinner

Igor Zektser raised under the gun and got a call from James Obst to head to a flop of 7♦5♥5♠.

Zektser bet and got a call from Obst and both watched as the dealer burned and turned the 2♦.

Zektser checked before facing a bet from Obst. Zektser check-raised to put himself all in and got called by Obst with one card to come.

The river brought the 9♥ and both players were good for half the pot as dinner break approaches.

Zektser, Obst Chop a Big One Off Burnside

Three-handed on a flop of 9♠A♥2♦, Kyle Burnside bet from under the gun and Igor Zektser raised on the button. James Obst called the raise, as did Burnside.

The turn came the Q♦ and Burnside bet again. Zektser called all in and Obst stuck around to see the 6♥ river, where Burnside and Obst both checked.

Zektser showed A♠2♣4♣7♥ for the low, while Obst had A♦8♣6♠4♦ for two pair, aces and sixes, to win the high. Burnside flashed A♣J♣ before he mucked.

"Look at the size of this pot," Nick Kost observed as it took several minutes for the dealer to chop it up between Zektser and Obst.

Aubrey Wins Without Showdown

Action folded to Qinghai Pan in late position who came in for a raise and got a call from Aubrey Gilbert in the big blind to see a flop of 2♣K♥9♣.

Gilbert led out with a bet that was quickly called by Pan, prompting the dealer to burn and turn the J♥. Gilbert led again and again, Pan called to come along to the 6♦ river.

Gilbert led into Pan for a third time who briefly thought about it as he looked back at his hand before he tossed his cards into the muck, conceding the pot to Gilbert.

Cartwright Survives With Three Quarters

Heads-up on a flop of 5♣4♠10♠, Kyle Cartwright got his last chips in the middle against Brian Kelley.

Kelley had flopped two pair to take the lead over Cartwright's aces as Cartwright stood up from his chair and prepared to leave.

The turn, though, came the A♠ and Cartwright made a set. The river came the 6♥ and Cartwright took the high, while they chopped the low.

Kost, Collopy Chop Up Zektser

Jim Collopy bet on a flop of 8♥K♥8♦ and was called by both Nick Kost and Igor Zektser.

All three players checked the 5♣ turn before Collopy bet again on the 4♠ river. Both opponents called.

Collopy had 4♦4♣ for a pair of fours to take the high, while Kost earned the low with A♥2♥ as Zektser tossed his cards into the muck in frustration.
