Grosso Picks Opportune Time to Secure Chips

Sergio Grosso was down to his last 29,000 shortly before the last 20-minute break of Level 15.

He went on a mini-run to accumulate chips, and it came against the same opponent

On the first occasion, his opponent raised in late position, and Grosso went all in.

Grosso: Q♣Q♥
Opponent: K♦10♣

The dealer fanned 4♥4♦9♦A♥5♠, giving Grosso the win and pushing his stack to 71,000.

Two hands later, his opponent pushed all-in with his remaining 38,000, and Grosso called:

Grosso: A♠10♣
Opponent: A♣J♦

The board ran out 5♦10♦8♦10♠9♠, giving Grosso trip tens and the win, and sending his opponent to the rail.
