Konakchiev Adding Chips Early

Level 28 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Valentino Konakchiev entered Day 3 with the eighth-most chips in play (2,475,000), but he quickly added chips as Level 28 began.

On the first hand, he raised 200,000 in early position. Timothy Miles in the big blind and Girish Reknar in the big blind called.

The dealer placed 28Q on the board, which drew checks from Reknar and Konakchiev. Miles bet 250,000 in position, and received calls from both players.

The turn saw 3, which all three players checked. The river produced 6, once again drawing checks before showdown, and the cards were tabled in order.

Two hands later, Konakchiev took down a pot with aggression. Miles raised 200,000 in position, drawing a call from Alexandre Reard in the small blind. Konakchiev three-bet the action out of the big blind to 525,000, resulting in folds from his opponents.
