Reard Spikes Set
Level 29
: Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
WSOP bracelet winner Alexandre Reard raised on the button, and was called by Byung Eun Shin, who was in the big blind.
The dealer placed 9♥8♦J♠ on the board, which Shin checked and Reard bet. Shin eventually called. The turn produced 5♥, which once again saw Shin check out of position. Reard bet 600,000, which Shin called.
The 4♥ appeared on the river, which both players checked.
Reard tabled 9♦9♣, giving him middle set. Shin flashed K♦J♦ to Reard before tossing them in the muck.
