Costa’s Aces Take Down Pot Before Flop

Level 31 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Girish Reknar raised with JJ to 500,000 in early position, and Valentino Konakchiev called with A10.

Ruben Costa looked down at AA and raised the action to 2,930,000, leaving approximately 2,000,000 behind.

Reknar went in the tank, looking down the table at Konakchiev and Costa. He then folded, and Konakchiev followed suit.

Reknar told his tablemates that he folded pocket jacks, an admission that drew amazement.

“Good fold,” Costa said without revealing his hand.
