He muttered oaths to himself, he asked the pot to be spread so he could count it, he counted his own stack, all while trying to see the end game, whether his fortune lay better by calling or folding. Eventually he called, then bet fifth to put Hundley all in. Baker paired his king to match his ace in the hole, and Hundley's queen low was enough to survive.

Baker breathed a sigh of relief as he turned over Kx6x4x for queen low, which was good for the massive pot.

On one of the first hands following the dinner break, a refreshed Baker looked to rebuild his stack, while Liberto hoped to extend the chip lead he had amassed. By sixth street Liberto's board appeared to have Baker's in trouble, but after both checked the river, Baker only had to say the word "eight" to force Liberto's cards into the muck.
