Schertzer Doesn't Give Chance What He Wants

Level 19

Kevin Chance: XxXxXx/5x5x2x9x
Ivan Schertzer: XxXxXx/7x8xJx7x - folded seventh street

Kevin Chance completed the bring-in and got a call from Ivan Schertzer to his immediate left.

After Chance paired his door card on fourth, he called a bet from Schertzer to see fifth street.

Still with the lead, but picking up a jack, Schertzer elected to check, then called a bet from Chance.

On sixth street, Schertzer also paired his door card so the betting lead was now back on Chance, who indeed bet and got a call from Schertzer.

On seventh, Chance bet again and after thinking briefly, Schertzer cut out a raise, but never moved it forward, opting instead to move his cards forward and fold.

"Raise it! Raise it! I made it!" Said Chance, disappointedly as the pot was pushed his way, but wishing he could have collected another bet on the end.

Level 19

Jason Lipiner: XxXx/Ax5x10x10x - folded on sixth street
Mark Fraser: AxAx4x/6x8xJx3x
Jose Paz-Gutierrez: 4x8x9x/5x9xJx4x

Paz-Gutierrez found himself down to two bets on third street and reraised Fraser to get them both in the middle. From there the betting was on the side between Fraser and Lipiner, as Paz-Gutierrez watched his fate unfold in front of him.

Fraser eventually folded out Lipiner on sixth after running tens, but by then Paz-Gutierrez was drawing dead, and a second pair on the river made it official.
