Rubinstein Puts Holloway on Deuces

2-7 Triple Draw

Donny Rubinstein took two and bet on the first draw while Chad Holloway took three and called.

Holloway took two more on the second draw and Rubinstein drew one as both players checked. Holloway took another two on the final draw and Rubinstein took one.

"Record every detail. I'm going to slow roll him," Rubinstein said as he bet and Holloway began tanking. Holloway eventually folded.

"What a read. I put him on a pair of deuces," Rubinstein said as he took the pot.

Nick Kost, runner-up in the $1,500 Omaha Hi-Lo event earlier this series, bet on the first draw and was called by two opponents.

Kost drew one while his two opponents drew two. Kost bet again and the player on the button called, while the big blind folded.

Both players drew one and Kost checked. The button then tossed out a bet and Kost called, turning over 7x6x5x2xAx to win the pot.

Eduardo De Farias bet on fourth and fifth streets and was called by two opponents. He bet again on sixth and both opponents called.

Heading to seventh street, the dealer accidently exposed De Farias' last card and the floor had to be called over. It was eventually ruled that the card had to be shuffled back into the deck.

All three players checked seventh and De Farias earned the pot with 1055.

Defending champion Menikos Panagiotou was involved in a blind versus blind battle heading to a flop of QA10. Panagiotou led out for 400 and the big blind called.

The turn came the 6 and Panagiotou fired out another 1,000. His opponent again called and both players checked the 2 river.

Panagiotou opened up KJ74 for the flopped straight and his opponent mucked.

Moss Picks One Off on the River

Three players, including Frederic Moss in the hijack and Joe McKeehen on the button, went to a flop of 3A4. Action checked to McKeehen who tossed out a bet of 2,000.

Both opponents called as the turn came 8. All three players checked to the 7 river, when the small blind bet 7,000.

Moss quickly called while McKeehen mucked. "You got it," the small blind said, flashing the K. Moss showed J10 for the flopped flush as he took down the big pot.

Weinberger Takes From Friedman, Takes Out Buchanan

Shawn Buchanan was already all in with a short stack as Adam Friedman and Joe Weinberger built a 1,000 side pot heading to the A83 flop.

Friedman, in the small blind, bet 500 and Weinberger called. Friedman checked the 2 turn and Weinberger checked behind.

The river came the 10 and both players quickly checked. Friedman turned over Q10 for a pair of tens, but Weinberger had A5 for a pair of aces to win the pot as Buchanan ran off to reenter.
