Level 14
Chad Holloway
Chad Holloway

Razz

Chad Holloway was down to an extreme short stack but quintupled up in an unraised family pot.

The next hand, Holloway was all in again, this time against Kao "Flexx" Saechao, Andres Korn, and one other opponent.

Chad Holloway: XxXx/2x2xJx
Kao "Flexx" Saechao: XxXx/7x10x2x
Andres Korn: XxXx/10x6x - folded
Opponent: XxXx/Jx8xKx - folded

Korn raised on third street before Saechao reraised, with all three opponents calling and Holloway putting in his last chips. Saechao bet again on fourth and fifth, with Korn surrendering on fourth and his remaining opponent on fifth.

"I might be drawing dead" Holloway said as he finished with Kx8xQx7x. Saechao made Ax3x9xQx for 9-7-3-2-A to win the pot and knockout Holloway near the end of the night.

A few hands earlier, Holloway said he lost a 100,000 chip pot in Razz when he started with Ax2x3x and his opponent with 10x8x and made 8-6, but his opponent finished with 8-5 to win the pot.

Leonard Runs Into Sotiropoulos' Aces

Level 13

Pot-Limit Omaha

Georgios Sotiropoulos and Patrick Leonard went heads-up to a flop of 6210 when Sotiropoulos, in the cutoff, bet 4,000 and Leonard called.

Both players checked the Q turn as the 6 fell on the river. Sotiropoulos now led out for 12,000.

Leonard got up off his seat and studied the board standing up before cutting out the chips to call and placing them in front of Sotiropoulos' stack, essentially giving up the pot. Sotiropoulos showed down AA and Leonard flashed K9 before mucking.
