Deutsch Scores The Double Knockout

Jeremy Geist
Jeremy Geist
Level 19 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

There was an early position player who was all in for 288,000. Joel Deutsch flat called from middle position and the next player to act jammed for 349,000. The action was then back on Deutsch who flicked in the extra 62,000.

After the cards are tabled we see the following:

Early Position 5♣5♦
Joel Deutsch K♦Q♣
Late Position Q♦Q♠

The dealer burned and turned a K♣3♠8♥ flop and Deutsch spikes his king. The turn 8♣ and river A♣ bring no help to the all-in players and Deutsch earns the double knockout.
