Clock Called on Haines
Level 25
: Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Chris Haines raised from the middle position to 190,000. The action reached the button, who shoved all in for 460,000. Haines sat on his decision for some time before one of the players at the table requested the floor for the clock. After having the ruling recited to him, Haines had thirty seconds to act on his decision. He put in the extra 270,000 within the allotted time frame and the cards went on their backs.
Button: A♣10♠
Chris Haines: A♠7♠
The board ran out in dramatic fashion as the first four cards read K♣Q♣5♣4♠, but the nail in the coffin came the 7♦ on the river.
Haines won the pot as the player who called the clock commented "I won you a bounty."
