Piccioli Flops the Nuts
A player in late position raised to 5,500 and received a call from Bryan Piccioli on the button and the player in the big blind, sending the trio to a flop of J♣4♣6♣.
Action checked through the flop, prompting the dealer to burn and turn the 2♥.
Action checked to Piccioli who tossed out a bet of 9,000, getting a fold from the big blind and a call from the late position player before watching as the 8♣ hit the river.
The late position player checked to Piccioli once more, who bet out 25,000. The late position player pondered his decision for a moment, eventually putting out the calling chips only to see Piccioli turn over the A♣Q♣.
Seeing that his opponent had flopped the nuts, the late position player mucked his cards, having flashed the 10♣ for a lesser flush.
