Shylko Bets Big on the River

Level 9 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Aliaksandr Shylko
Aliaksandr Shylko

There was an open under the gun to 3,500. Brent Hanks called in the cutoff and Aliaksandr Shylko made the call in the small blind. The players were off to a flop three ways.

The A65 flop hit the felt and Shylko started with a check. The preflop raiser made it 2,500 and both Hanks and Shylko made the call.

The 8 turn rolled off and now Shylko went into the tank for a moment before leading to the tune of 9,500. The under the gun player snap folded but Hanks made the call.

The A hit the river and Shylko went into the tank for about a minute before putting one blind to the side and sending the rest into the middle. Hanks only took a minute before making the fold and Shylko dragged a big pot to take him out of the short stack play.
