Korn Finally Catches a Break

Level 18 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Razz

Scott Clements bet enough to put Andres Korn all in on third street. "Might as well," Korn said as he called.

Clements finished with 9x9x3x5x9Kx10x for a king-low. Korn was showing 3x2x4xJx4xK heading to seventh. "I need anything that beats this," Korn said, pointing to his jack.

He turned over a 10x on seventh to make a 10-low and double up.

"Can't kill anybody at this table. It's about time after you doubled up 15 people," David "ODB" Baker told Korn.

Level 18 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better

Steve Hyung opened to 15,000 from middle position only to see Jason Pedigo three-bet to 48,000 out of the big blind. After some thought, Hyung called.

Action checked through the 1089 flop to the K turn at which point Pedigo bet enough to force his opponent all in. Hyung quickly tossed his hand into the muck to leave himself with just 50,000.

Suzuki Cracks Aces For Huge Double

Level 18 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Ryutaro Suzuki and Scott Bohlman already built a pot of more than 200,000 heading to the 5K4 flop when Suzuki, in the small blind, moved all in for 105,000.

"I have outs," Bohlman said as he called.

Ryutaro Suzuki: KK105
Scott Bohlman: A34A

Bohlman needed to complete a straight or hit an ace to avoid taking a massive hit, but he missed the 6 turn and 4 river as Suzuki doubled up.

Flush Over Flush Boosts Bohlman

Level 18 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Scott Bohlman opened from the cutoff and received a single caller in the form of Ryutaro Suzuki in the big blind.

Suzuki checked following the 10K2 flop and then called after Bohlman continued for 15,000.

The A turn saw Suzuki check again. Bohlman opted to fire a second barrel, making it 50,000 to go. Suzuki called once more.

Both players checked on the 9 river with Suzuki announcing "flush" as he turned over 103XxXx. It was not good, however, as Bohlman held QJ95 for the better flush to pip Suzuki to the pot.
