The preflop action saw a raise from the under-the-gun player to 2,000, a reraise from middle position to 5,000 and an all-in from AJ Gillette in the cutoff to 20,000. The early position player folded and the middle position player tanked and then called.
AJ Gillette: A♠A♦
Middle position player: 9♥9♦
The board ran out with 8♣4♣2♥5♣7♦ and the aces held for a much needed double for Gillette.
