Schkilkuche Sends One to the Rail with Ladies

Lindsay Schkilkuche raised from early position to 1,200. Action folded to the small blind who put in a three-bet to 3,700.

The big blind, who was extremely short stacked from a previous hand, called for less, putting himself all in.

With action back on Schkilkuche, he called the three-bet and with one player at risk, three players headed to a flop of 7♥Q♥2♥.

The player in the small blind checked and watched as Schkilkuche put together a bet of 3,000 which got a fold from the small blind and sent Schkilkuche and his opponent in the big blind to a two card run out with cards on their backs.

The turn and river came the 3♣ and 8♠, offering no improvement to the big blind player and sending him to the rail with an early exit as Schkilkuche collected the pot.

Liu Shows No Fear to Take the Pot

Action began preflop when Qiaonan Liu raised to 700 from the cutoff. The player on the button raised to 3,000, then the small blind four-bet to 8,700. Liu five-bet to 16,000, and only the small blind called.

The flop came Q♠A♠5♠ and the small blind quickly checked to Liu. He led out for 13,000, but his opponent opted to fold.

Buckner Takes Three-Bet Pot

A player in early position opened the action to 600 and the player next to act called. It folded to the button who made the call and Steven Buckner put in a three-bet to 2,100 from the small blind. All three opponents came along and the flop fanned out K♣9♦4♥.

All four players checked their options to the 8♥ turn. Buckner announced a bet of 2,500, all three of his opponents let their cards go, and the pot was shipped to the New Yorker.

On the turn of 6♦, Matukov continued the aggression and bet 2,600. The big blind called again.

The scare card A♥ brought a check from both players and Matukov showed Q♠10♦ for middle pair and the big blind mucked.

Opponent Gets Left on Reading, Exits Early

On a flop of 10♥8♦3♦ with three active players and about 7,000 already in the middle, both the big blind and cutoff players checked to John Reading on the button.

Reading thought briefly before deciding on a jam. The big blind got out of the way, but the player in the cutoff called off for less and sent the duo to a run out with the cards on the backs.

The cutoff was drawing very live, but when the turn and river came down the 6♠ and 8♣, he was left unimproved as the kings of Reading held up to take down the pot and send his opponent to the rail.
