Picking action up on a flop of QKA, Phil Ivey checked in the big blind to Dan Cates under the gun to his immediate left.

Ivey called and the dealer dropped the 8 on the turn. Ivey check-called another bet, and the 4 came on the river.

Ivey check-called one more bet and Cates robotically declared "bullets," showing AAK8 for top set, while Ivey showed KQ76 for a low to chop up the pot.

Lamb Mauled by Rabid Katz

Two-time bracelet winner Ben Lamb was after his second bracelet of the series after winning Event #25: $10,000 Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship earlier this week but will have to seek it elsewhere after being eliminated by Cary Katz.

The cards had already been mucked as Lamb left the tournament area and Katz stacked up his newly acquired chips.

Action folded to Brian Yoon in middle position who opened to 8,000. It folded to Josh Arieh on the Button who called and everyone else folded.

The A310 landed and action checked to Arieh who put out a bet of 13,000. Yoon made the call.

The turn brought a Q and action checked through to a 2 river.

Yoon now led for 38,000. Arieh didn't waste much time before announcing "pot". Yoon mucked almost instantaneously and said "I was bluffing". Arieh tabled just three of his cards in the 667 and threw the other.

" I wonder what the other one was?" joked Yoon as Arieh smiled and dragged the pot.

A pot of over 100,000 was built on the river and Ben Lamb bet 74,000 from the big blind. David Williams then moved all in from the cutoff for just under 150,000.

Lamb went into the tank for a couple of minutes before spiking down a call.

Williams showed 77 for a flopped set and turned full house which sent Lamb's card into the muck.

After Hal Rotholz limped his small blind, Dan Cates raised in the big blind. Rotholz called and the flop came Q102.

The players checked to see the 7 on the turn, and then Rotholz check-called a bet from Cates.

The river brought the 9 and after another check from Rotholz, Cates bet a final time. Rotholz thought briefly then put in the call.

"Ace-high" said Cates in his best Terminator voice before Rotholz turned over 8522 for a winning set of deuces.

Nacho Barbero raised from the cutoff and Michael Moncek three-bet on the button. Barbero called.

The flop of 647 checked through and Barbero led out on the Q turn. Moncek called. Barbero bet again on the 3 river and Moncek again called.

Barbero showed AJ52 for a rivered straight and the nut low as Moncek showed AA and mucked.

Chad Eveslage brought it in and Nacho Barbero completed. Eveslage made the call and and they were off to fourth street which went bet and call. Fifth street landed and Eveslage called Barbero's bet again. Sixth street slowed down and went check check.

The dealer tossed each player a river and Barbero put his foot back on the gas with a bet. Eveslage appeared to have a tough decision and was in the tank for almost two minutes before eventually laying it down.

Phil Ivey won a massive pot off Matthew Ashton for the chip lead in the previous level and just won some more off the 2013 PPC champ.

Picking up the action on sixth street, Ivey checked and Ashton checked back. Ivey then led out on seventh street and Ashton called, only to muck as Ivey showed the winner.
