Of Course "The Terminator" Has Bullets

Level 6
Phil Ivey, Dan Cates
Phil Ivey, Dan Cates

Omaha Hi-Lo

Picking action up on a flop of QKA, Phil Ivey checked in the big blind to Dan Cates under the gun to his immediate left.

Ivey called and the dealer dropped the 8 on the turn. Ivey check-called another bet, and the 4 came on the river.

Ivey check-called one more bet and Cates robotically declared "bullets," showing AAK8 for top set, while Ivey showed KQ76 for a low to chop up the pot.

Two-time bracelet winner Ben Lamb was after his second bracelet of the series after winning Event #25: $10,000 Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship earlier this week but will have to seek it elsewhere after being eliminated by Cary Katz.

Pot Limit Omaha

Action folded to Brian Yoon in middle position who opened to 8,000. It folded to Josh Arieh on the Button who called and everyone else folded.

The A310 landed and action checked to Arieh who put out a bet of 13,000. Yoon made the call.

The turn brought a Q and action checked through to a 2 river.

Yoon now led for 38,000. Arieh didn't waste much time before announcing "pot". Yoon mucked almost instantaneously and said "I was bluffing". Arieh tabled just three of his cards in the 667 and threw the other.

" I wonder what the other one was?" joked Yoon as Arieh smiled and dragged the pot.
