Vohra Doesn't Have a Bluffing Face

Level 22 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Big O

Heads-up on a board of 924K, Raj Vohra bet 155,000 from the button and Steve Foutty called in the cutoff.

The river came the 9 and Foutty checked over to Vohra, who slid forward a bet of 180,000 this time.

"You deserve it. Are you bluffing this time," Foutty asked as he began tanking for several minutes. Vohra continued to sit silently starring at the board.

"This isn't the face of someone who's bluffing. This is the face of someone who has it," Foutty added before he decided to call.

Vohra turned over KK874 for a full house and Foutty mucked.

Mulla Scoops a Double

Level 22 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo

Leonid Yanovski raised to 20,000 and was called by Sergio Martinez in the hijack. Uzair Mulla, in the cutoff, then reraised to 92,000, leaving himself about 12,000 behind, and Yanovski folded.

Martinez, though, snap-called and went to turn over his hand before being told Mulla was not yet all in. The flop came 1093 and they got the rest of the chips in the middle.

Uzair Mulla: A943
Sergio Martinez: AA85

Mulla had taken the lead with two pair and also made a low on the 7 turn and 8 river.

"Scoop," he cried out as he doubled up.

"Scoopy-doo," tablemate Maksim Pisarenko added.

Knight Sheers Lamb, Leaves Him Bare

Level 23 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

PokerNews picked up the action when a player not involved came up and said there was a "weird" hand going down at their table.

As relayed to us, action pre-flop was that Jesse Knight raised in the small blind and got called by Ben Lamb in the big blind.

The flop came A44 and Knight checked to Lamb who tossed out a bet. Knight came back with a check-raise and Lamb called to send the pair to the A turn.

Knight led this time and faced a raise from Lamb, which Knight called to see the A fall on the river. Knight led with a bet that would have put Lamb all in and Lamb went into the tank.

PokerNews showed up after the river bet while Lamb tanked and while running through the hand, he could be heard saying, "This is a weird spot."

After 3 minutes or so, Lamb eventually released his hand, conceding the pot to Knight and leaving himself only 21,000 to work with.

The two immediately agreed that it was the "worst runout ever" as Knight showed Kx6xXxXx.

Lamb said that he had the Qx6x in his hand and would have lost either way which just goes to show how far above the rim the players are when events like this get deep.

Lamb, unfortunately, left the ultimate leveling war with next to nothing remaining and will be looking for a spot to double up in the immediate future.

DeMaci Makes a Straight Flush on Foutty

Level 23 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo

Steve Foutty reraised to 60,000 from the small blind and received three callers, including Chris DeMaci in the cutoff.

The flop came Q59 and Foutty moved his last 160,000 in the middle. Only DeMaci called.

Foutty showed AQJ5, while DeMaci had A742. The 3 on the turn gave DeMaci a flush, but his hand only got better on the river when the dealer turned over the 6 as DeMaci made a straight flush.

"Is that a scoop," Foutty asked as he peered across the table at DeMaci's hand before mucking and heading for the exit.

Livingston Bets Big on the River

Level 23 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Big O

Heads-up on a board of 2J83, Sterling Savill bet 46,000 from the hijack and Alex Livingston called in the cutoff.

The river came the 4 and Savill slowed down and checked. Livingston now fired out a bet of 90,000.

"You were so dead on the turn. Just smacked it," Savill told Livingston as he tanked for several minutes. The dealer then had to remind the two players not to discuss the hand with action pending.

"I didn't start it," Livingston replied. Savill then mucked, showing Livingston his A4. Livingston returned his cards face down and took the pot.
