Hundley Eliminated by Schultz

Level 22

No-Limit Hold'em

Heads-up to the AQ36 turn, Matthew Schultz faced the shove of Chris Hundley for 82,000 and went into a brief tank. He then called and Hundley tabled the KQ for a pair of queens. Schultz was ahead with the A5 and the 5 river only improved Schultz.

"What a slowroll," Nacho Barbero exclaimed and added "I was thinking maybe queen-jack or queen-ten" ... . The vacated seat was filled with Phil Hellmuth much to the delight of the Argentinian.

"White magic," he joked and wanted to give Hellmuth a fist bump. But his new table neighbour was not having it.

"I am fully steaming right now ... I should have a million right now in my sleep," Hellmuth ranted albeit with a smile on the face and then reiterated his recent run bad on the previous table.

Badeucey

Picking action up just before the last draw with about 70,000 in front of each player, Phil Hellmuth drew one under the gun and Frederic Moss stood pat to his immediate left.

The action was checked and Hellmuth showed Q8653 for an eight-six-five-three Badugi, but only a queen low for his 2-7 hand.

Moss showed 108652 for a ten low 2-7 hand and an eight-six-five-TWO, just pipping Hellmuth's Badugi to scoop the pot.

Delgado Eliminated in Three-Way Action

Level 22

Badacey

Matthew Delgado was already at risk prior to the second draw on which Jason Sagle, Delgado and Nacho Barbero all took one new card. Sagle check-called a bet by Barbero and Delgado then patted the final draw while both his opponents took one again.

Sagle check-called once more and showed his 75 / 43A for a three card Badugi and seventy-five. Delgado briefly showed a worse three-card Badugi and seventy-six as he already headed to the payout runner. Barbero's 62 / 43A was no Badugi either but he earned three quarters of the pot with the same Badugi and superior sixty-four.

Dewitt Eliminated by Kelsall

Level 22

Big O

No-Limit Hold 'em

2021 champion and 2022 runner-up Jaswinder Lally moved all in for his last 54,000 over an 18,000 chip raise from Chad Eveslage who called to put the Canadian at risk.

Jaswinder Lally: 99
Chad Eveslage: A8

The flop came 345, adding a gutshot draw to Eveslage's outs. Sure enough, the A fell on the turn to give Eveslage the win to eliminate Lally in 31st place, with the 9 coming in on the river to add salt to the wound.

Meanwhile, at an adjacent table, Nathan DeWitt was also eliminated

Down to the Last Five Tables

Level 22

Ryon Nicholson was knocked out by Clayton Mozdzen to reduce the field to the final 31 hopefuls and Jaswinder Lally, winner of this very event in 2021 and runner-up in the previous edition, then followed right after.

In between, Bryan Micon tangled with Andrew Kelsall in a battle of the blinds in Big O as well. Micon bet the A104 flop for 16,000 and reluctantly folded to a pot-sized raise to 88,000.

"I gonna show some of them," Kelsall said and flashed the A52.

"That had me in pretty rough shape," Micon replied.
