Ap Garza clashed with Arthur Morris in a medium-sized pot when he invested 600,000 on the K♠Q♦4♠2♦ turn via check-call. The J♥ on the river was checked and Morris announced kings up, then tabled the K♦5♠3♠2♥ for kings and deuces with a missed straight and flush draw.
That was good enough to win the pot.
Stanislav Halatenko then raised to 250,000 and Dimitar Danchev defended the big blind. The A♣Q♠8♠ flop was checked by Danchev and Halatenko barely had the chips in for a continuation bet when Danchev already folded.
