Seidel Chips Down

On a board of 5A6, Erik Sidel bet 3,000 from middle position. The player in the hijack called sending them both to a turn.

The 10 saw Seidel slow down checking to the hijack, who bet out for 5,000. Seidel called.

The Q fell on the river and the hand checked to a showdown.

The hijack tabled AKQ9 sending Seidel's cards into the muck and claiming them this pot.

Two-Pair Good for Coultas

A player in middle position limped in and called when Charlie Coultas raised to 2,500 from the small blind leaving action heads up going into the flop.

Coultas bet 2,500 again on the A5K flop and was called by the middle position player. Action then checked through on the 4 turn and 10 river.

The middle position player showed AQ88 for top-pair and Coultas showed KQQ10 for two pair, Kings and Tens to win the pot.

Schaefer Open Jams the Flop

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

A player in middle position raised to 1,300 and the hijack called. Brandon Schaefer in the small blind three-bet to 6,000 and the original raiser responded with a four-bet to 18,900. The hijack stepped aside and Schaefer called.

The board came 725 and Schaefer open-jammed covering his opponent in middle position, who called.

The 6 on the turn saw Schaefer take the lead with a king-high flush. The river fell the 6 eliminating Schaefer's opponent in the process.

Castillo Doubles Through Seidel; Winter Building a Stack

Erik Seidel opened to 1,800 from the cutoff and was called by the button. Jose Castillo squeezed from the small blind to 6,800 and only Seidel called.

Castillo made a pot-size bet on the 1074 flop, and Seidel called. Castillo then moved all in for 28,300 on the 4 turn. Seidel thought about it for a few moments before calling.

Castillo was ahead with his tens and fours, while also dominating Seidel's flush draw. The 5 river kept Castillo ahead and he raked in the pot.

Sean Winter is also at the table is one of the few players with a stack that breaches the 200,000 mark.

Fei Finds a Non-Believer in Sammartino

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Action was picked up on the flop. Dario Sammartino and Wesley Fei were heads up with about 4,500 in the middle and the board reading KQ6. Sammartino checked, Fei bet 1,500 and Sammartino made the call.

Both players checked the 10 turn leading to the A river. Sammartino check-called another bet from Fei, this time for 4,500.

Fei tabled 6543 for a pair of sixes and Sammartino revealed AK98 for two-pair, aces and kings to scoop the pot.

Negreanu Takes Down Another Pot

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Paul Volpe raised from the hijack to 1,500, Daniel Negreanu on the button called, as did the player in the big blind.

The board came 5KA and Volpe continued into two opponents for 3,500. Only Negreanu called.

The turn brought the 9 and Volpe checked the action over to Negreanu who threw in one red chip for a bet of 5,000.

Volpe folded showing the AJ, conceding the pot to Negreanu.

Brewer Takes Down a Pot

In a limped pot to the Q54 flop, Robert Mizrachi and Connor Drinan checked from the blinds. The middle position player and the cutoff followed suit, which inspired Chris Brewer to fire for 1,000 on the button. Only Mizrachi and Drinan called.

The 4 turn checked through to the 3 river. Mizrachi and Drinan checked for a third time and returned their cards to the dealer when Brewer sized up to 3,000.

Gayler Doubles Through Zamani

There was 61,600 in the middle on the K32Q board in heads-up pot between Martin Zamani and Richard Gayler.

"You have like 26,000 behind, right?" asked Zamani from the small blind. Gayler agreed which prompted Zamani then put him all in. Gayler called for his tournament life and the cards were tabled.

"I have a really dusty hand," commented Zamani as the cards were exposed.

Gayler was ahead with a set of kings and the 6 river did not complete any of Zamani's draws, for the former to find a double up.
