Yanushev Busts One

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

The board 3JK8 was already dealt in a heads-up pot when the big blind bet 1,000 to Martin Yanushev, who raised it to 4,000. The big blind shoved with a remaining stack around 15,000 and Yanushev snap-called.

Big Blind: KJ
Martin Yanushev: 88

The player at risk had two pair and stood up from his chair when he saw Yanushev had hit a set of eights. The 10 river didn't change anything and Yanushev took down the pot while his opponent exited the tournament area.

Jaime Gold

2006 WSOP Main Event Champion Jamie Gold opened to 600 in the hijack. The cutoff called, as well as the button and the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of 982. Gold made a continuation bet of 600. And this time, only the big blind called.

Both players checked on the turn 2. On the river 5, Gold bet again to 2,400. His opponent check-called, but couldn't do much against Gold's A5 for the best flush possible.
