Iermolcheva Raises Then Gives Up

Level 5 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

In the cutoff, Adam Beyrer opened to 1,000 and was called only by Olga Iermolcheva in the big blind.

On the flop A310, Beyrer thought the best option was to bet 2,000. However, Iermolcheva didn't want to let her chips go so easily, so she check-raised to 5,100. Beyrer called.

The K came on the turn, and both players checked. The same action occurred when the second king K appeared on the river. Then, Beyrer showed A7 for a pair of aces. It was the best hand as Iermolcheva folded.

Metaal Sends One Out

Level 5 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

With a pot around 10,000, the board showed 5273 when a player checked to Govert Metaal who sent 8,900 in the middle. His opponent went deep into the tank before eventually shoving for approximately 20,000. Metaal snap-called and they tabled their cards:

Opponent: KK
Govert Metaal: 77

Metaal had hit a set of sevens and the 10x river didn't change anything to give the pot to Metaal and bust his opponent.

The turn was the 7 while DeStefano fired for 4,200. Only the button called to the river.

While the river peeled off 6, DeStefano bet for 8,700 as his opponent folded for him to scoop the pot.

Dumont Can't Find The Fold

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

2018 EPT Monte-Carlo Champion Nicolas Dumont opened from the hijack position and was called by the two players in the blinds.

On the flop 8A2, he continued with a bet of 1,300. Only Stephen Friedrich, the big blind, called him.

On the turn J, Dumont bet an additional 3,000, keeping 15,000 chips behind. Friedrich called once again.

On the river 2, Friedrich took the lead, betting a pile of 5,000 chips to force Dumont to go all-in. After a few seconds, Dumont couldn't find a fold and pushed his remaining chips. But when he saw Friedrich reveal 108 for a flush, the Frenchman could only stand up and join the queue to reentry.
