Thomas Blanton Eliminated in 9th Place ($55,770)
Level 38
: Blinds 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante
Alexander Cole-Gardner declared all in preflop, and was called by Thomas Blanton, whom he covered.
Thomas Blanton: Q♣Q♦
Alexander Cole-Gardner: J♠J♥
Blanton was a big favorite but a 2♥4♣J♣ flop soon reversed that — and a 3♣ followed by a 5♦ turn and river ended his tournament.
