Cooper Scores Massive Double-Up on the Bubble

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

The dinner break chip leader Yuzu Wang bet 30,000 from the button and was met with a raise from Christian Cooper on the big blind for 65,000. Yuzu Wang responded with a shove and Christian Cooper snap-called for 350,000 which is a massive 35 big blinds.

Yuzu Wang: 1010
Christian Cooper: AK

A massive flip for a 72 big blind pot. There was no help for Cooper on the 864 flop, nor the 8 turn but the A on the river gave Cooper the deadman's hand, but it gave the budding vlogger life and a huge stack.

It will be interesting to revisit this hand from Cooper's YouTube vlog Poker Esquire when it is uploaded!

The board read 1010Q7A and the ace on the river saved Garman from elimination as it gave him the straight.

Masino Survives the Bubble

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

In the early stages of hand-for-hand play, Vincent Masino was all-in from early position and was called by a player with a covering stack in the big blind.

Vincent Masino: AJ
Big Blind Player: A6

Masino had the dominant ace heading into the 5KQ flop, but the board would pair on the Q turn, giving the big blind player some life in the form of chop outs.

However, the 2 on the river would lock up the double for Masino to survive the bubble.
