Late Registration Closes Soon

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Late registration for the Lucky 7's will close once the break finishes at the end of Level 12, which will be approximately 5:15 p.m.

As it stands 3,124 players have entered Day 1c, but the line to get into the action is still significant.

Party at Table 107

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

“Hey pokernews! This is the fun table!”

“Every level is beer level!” shouted Erick Argote as the round of drinks were delivered to a group of players who were thoroughly enjoying themselves.

Toshimasa Sakato was already all in under the gun with 71,000, and after some time and a few jokes around the table, John Vale stood up and said, “f*** it, I call!”

Toshimasa Sakato: JJ
John Vale: AK

The board revealed 452J10, and Sakato doubled up with a set. Vale sportingly responded to the cards with, “That was so awesome!”.

A couple of hands later, Argote, who was under the gun, exclaimed, “I have an announcement to make!” before shoving his remaining 46,000 chips into the middle.

“Whatever happens, happens boys!” said Vale as the table raised their glasses in a toast. Vale folded in the small blind before Dennis Wallace in the big blind took up the all-in call.

Erick Argote: AJ
Dennis Wallace: 1010

“Hearts! Hearts!” screamed Argote, but the board favored Wallace with 95235, giving him the pot with two pairs.

The middle position player moved all in for 23,500 and was called by John Burch in the big blind who covered their opponent.

An easy call for Burch and there was no help for middle position as the board ran A9296 and Burch chipped up.

Shuali Goes for Value

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Action caught up with Kali Shuali in early position on the river in a hand against a player in the big blind. The big blind had check-called a bet on the 2J5 flop and both players checked the 5 turn.

The player in the big blind would check the 6 river, too, and then quickly call a bet of 10,000 put out by Shuali.

Shuali showed QJ and the player in the big blind mucked.

Case Ace Gives Cosner the Edge Against "Unlucky Sevens"

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

The player under the gun raised to 5,500 and Daniel Cosner three-bet all in for 40,000 before the player in the hijack four-bet jammed for about 80,000 and the player under the gun folded.

Hijack: 77
Daniel Cosner: A5

The player in the hijack called them "unlucky sevens."

Two of the other players claimed to have folded an ace.

The board came out A4QK9 and if the other players were being truthful Cosner hit the case ace to win with top pair.

Najchaus Scores Elimination with "Easy Call"

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Alexane Najchaus

A player in the small blind moved all in and was called by Alexane Najchaus in the big blind.

Alexane Najchaus: JJ
Small Blind: 97

Although Najchaus' opponent would flop a pair on the 3A7 board, he would still need to play catch-up to survive.

However, Najchaus was able to score the elimination on the clean runout after the Q fell on the turn and the 4 on the river, sending her opponent to the rail.

"Finally, an easy call for once," Najchaus said.

Garman Rides Big Action to a Big Pot

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

The player under the gun raised to 5,000 and the middle position player and the big blind, Christopher Garman, both came along for the ride.

The flop showed 8106 and that's when everything went wild.

Garman checked, under-the-gun bet 8,000, the middle position player shoved all of his chips in for about 33,000 and Garman re-shoved with the bigger stack, getting the player under-the-gun player to fold.

Middle position: A5 for a nut-flush draw.
Christopher Garman: 109 for top pair with a gutshot possibility.

Garman beckoned "no diamonds!" The dealer did not oblige and delivered the 8 on the turn. But that card did pair the board, and when the river came the 10, Garman was back on top with a pot-scooping full house.

Line Update: Moving Quickly

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Thanks to tables breaking more quickly for the Main Event and bust-outs happening more frequently, the line to get into the action is moving faster than it has all day.

Currently, 2,824 have registered for Day 1c, but this number is escalating rather sharply.
