Negreanu Inching Back Into the Match

Daniel Negreanu limped in on the button and Roberto Perez raised it up to 21,000 from the big blind. Negreanu called and the flop of K♣10♦9♣ hit the felt. Perez continued with a bet of 11,000 and Negreanu just called.

The turn was the 6♥ and Perez slid out another bet of 32,000 which Negreanu still called. The 10♠ paired the board on the river and Perez slowed down with a check this time. Negreanu jammed all in for 95,600 and Perez used a time extension before dumping his cards to the muck.

Chris Brewer checked his option in a limped pot against John Smith. The flop came 9♦3♣6♥, Brewer checked over to Smith who took the lead for 7,000. Brewer called and they went to a turn.

The 5♠ saw Brewer now check-raise the 15,000 turn bet from Smith to 60,000. Smith called down and they went to the river.

On the 4♠ Brewer placed a bet of 85,000. "Alright!" Smith exclaimed as he was forced to give up the pot.

Tice Winds Up All In With Seven-Deuce

The river came the 7♥ and Chidwick bet 20,000. Tice then announced he was all in and Chidwick tanked for a moment before calling off his last 97,000.

Tice showed 7♣2♦ and Chidwick took the pot with K♦9♥ for a pair of nines to double up.

"Sick one," Tice told Chidwick after the hand. "I didn't think I was going to end up all in with seven-deuce, but then the seven came."

Wasserson opened up K♥9♥ for two pair and Mateos flashed Q♥7♥ before fist bumping Wasserson and making his exit.

Picking up the action on the turn with the board reading K♣J♣5♦9♠ and 62,000 chips in the middle, Landon Tice checked from the big blind. Stephen Chidwick checked it back and the 5♠ paired the board on the river.

Tice threw in a bet of 15,000 and Chidwick used a time extension before raising to 55,000. Tice instantly called and Chidwick flipped over Q♠Q♥. Tice tabled K♥6♣ for a pair of kings and took a healthy lead in the matchup.

Polk Gets Caught Bluffing Into Trips

Thomas Eychenne raised from the button to 6,500. Doug Polk three-bet to 22,000 and Eychenne called.

The first four cards came 10♥Q♣4♣Q♦ with Polk betting both the flop and the turn for 14,000 and 29,000 respectively. Each bet was called by Eychenne.

The river landed the 6♥ and Polk emptied the clip shoving all in and putting his opponent to the test for his remaining 75,500 chips. Eychenne called and Polk instantly mucked. Eychenne tabled his hand to reveal Q♥J♥ for trips.

"Damn, I need to stop bluffing," Polk recited aloud as he paid off the bet.
