Rast completed before Hellmuth immediately raised. Action folded to Rast, who made the call.

Fourth street saw Rast check-calling a bet from Hellmuth. Fifth street saw Rast raise Hellmuth's bet, to which Hellmuth called.

Both players checked down sixth and seventh streets. "Eights," said Hellmuth, turning over 10♣8♣4♣. Rast picked up all seven of his cards and looked at them before mucking.

Rast was seen exiting the tournament area a few hands later, having been eliminated.

With the flop showing 8♣2♣3♥ and action checking to him by Andres Korn in the big blind, Tehuda Buchalter bet under the gun. Motoyoshi Okamura called from middle position, as did Korn.

The K♣ turn brought another check from Korn. Buchalter bet, with only Okamura calling.

Despite only winning half of the pot, Buchalter has now taken the chip lead.

The Q♠ river brought a final bet from Buchalter, which was also called. Buchalter turned over A♦8♥5♠2♠ for two pair with an eight-five. Okamura showed A♥10♥10♦4♠ to take the low with an eight perfect.
