The flop came A♠3♥10♦. Hastings kept the pressure on Becker's short stack with a bet, with Becker making the call.

The K♦ turn brought another bet from Hastings. Becker raised all in, and Hastings called.

Becker would need help to survive, which he found on the 7♦ river to double up.

Koray Aledmir raised first-to-act and was three-bet by Scott Seiver in middle position. Action folded back around to Aldemir, who called.

Aldemir proceeded to check-call bets all the way down on the 5♣9♠8♥ flop, 10♣ turn, and 7♦ river. Seiver turned over J♠J♦ for a straight and Aldemir mucked and was left with just 60,000 following the hand.

Aldemir was seen exiting the tournament area shortly thereafter, having lost the rest of his chips in a subsequent hand.

Father & Daughter Make the Money of the 2023 WSOP Main Event

One of the most heartwarming storylines of the 2023 World Series of Poker (WSOP) emerged yesterday as the father-daughter duo of Amanda Botfeld and David Botfeld made the money of the $10,000 WSOP Main Event World Championship.

Amanda Botfeld, a poker writer and author of 2020's A Girl's Guide to Poker, announced on Twitter that she and her dad had made it to the money in poker's most prestigious event. The tweet included a photo of the two locked in a loving embrace, no doubt happy to have secured a payday of at least $15,000.

David Botfeld was eliminated later on Day 4, while Amanda Botfeld is still alive on Day 5.
