Day 3 of Event #81: $600 Ultra Stack No-Limit Hold'em begins at 1 p.m. local time Friday, July 14, at the 2023 World Series of Poker at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. The remaining nine players have already made the final table and will be looking to secure the top prize of $401,250 and a coveted WSOP gold bracelet.

Leading the field to start the day is John Fagg, bagging an impressive 91,000,000. Fagg’s previous career-best cash of $156,041 comes from a circuit event win in 2022 where he successfully navigated through another massive field of over 2,000 entrants. A top three finish will be required for Fagg to top his previous career-best score.

Hot on his heels is Peyton Ethridge who managed to bag 70,000,000 to start the day, worth 35 big blinds. Ethridge, who is entering his first WSOP final table, has already surpassed his previous career best score of $8,069 from earlier this year when he cashed in Event #53: $1,500 Millionaire Maker, but his sights will undoubtedly be set on the top prize in this event.

Rounding out the top three is South Korean player Min Sung Lee, who bagged 59,000,000 chips at the end of Day 2. Lee shot up the chip counts late in the day and he secured the last elimination of the day when he sent Shane Rose to the rail with king-queen in a preflop confrontation.
