Gonzalez Takes a Piece from Riordan

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

With 220,000 in the middle David Gonzalez bet 80,000 from the big blind at the A822 turn. John Riordan in the small blind made the call.

Both players checked the 10 river and Riordan tabled 44 for two pair. This wasn't good enough though as Gonzalez had K10 and took the pot with the better two pair.

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Martin Zamani
Martin Zamani

Martin Zamani has been one of the more active players in the early levels of the day and in this hand, Zamani called a late position open shove from Sridhar Sangannagari for 315,000 from the small blind.

Sridhar Sangannagari: A2
Martin Zamani: 99

Zamani's pair held through the 10Q7 flop, as well as the 3 turn, but the ace from space would land on the river in the form of the A, securing the double for Sangannagari.

Zamani Wins Massive Flip Off Udornpim

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Martin Zamani
Martin Zamani

Phil Hellmuth was just moved to a new table that included Martin Zamani and Nitis Udornpim. "Do you have No. 19 made already?" Udornpim joked with the 17-time WSOP bracelet winner about his branded hat.

Unfortunately, Udornpim's time sharing a table with Hellmuth proved short-lived. After Zamani raised in early position, action folded to Udornpim in the cutoff. "I don't know how to play poker so I'm all in," he said, shoving his last 900,000 into the middle. Zamani snap-called.

Nitis Udornpim: AK
Martin Zamani: QQ

Udornpim was racing in a pot worth nearly 2,000,000 as the board ran out 474510, keeping Zamani's queens in the lead and sending Udornpim to the rail. "Smile," he said to his tablemates as he snapped a picture before heading off to collect his payout.

Pantaleo Whiffs the River Against Kodinov

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Giuseppe Pantaleo bet 60,000 from early position on a flop of 10J5 and Atanas Kodinov called in the big blind.

The turn came the 8 and Kodinov checked over to Pantaleo, who then moved all in for 185,000. Kodinov let out a loud sigh but ended up sticking in the chips to call.

Pantaleo turned over KQ for a straight draw, while Kodinov was ahead with 98 for a pair of eights. The 7 fell on the river and Kodinov improved to a straight to send Pantaleo to the rail.

Hall of Famer Elezra Eliminated by Udornpim Just Before the Break

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Eli Elezra HOF
Eli Elezra HOF

In a hand relayed to PokerNews by Nitis Udornpim, Eli Elezra raised to 36,000 from the button and Udornpim moved all-in from the big blind for 300,000, with Elezra making the call.

Eli Elezra: QxQx
Nitis Udornpim: 109

The 10x8x6x flop put Elezra's queens in jeopardy but they would hold the lead on the 4x turn.

However, the 7x river completed the straight for Udornpim and secured the $2,021 bounty, sending Elezra to the rail.

This leaves Phil Hellmuth as the sole remaining bounty left in the field.
