Le Chips Up on Millian

Level 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Ricardo Nakamura raised to 165,000 and picked up calls from Ivan Millian and Quoc Le in the blinds.

The flop gave Q38 and Millian chose to lead for 500,000. After some thinking, Le shoved for 1,5550,000 and Nakamura let it go. Million considered it for some time and eventually folded at the end of the clock.

Tszhim Pun Eliminated in 18th Place ($9,259)

Level 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Tszhim Pun
Tszhim Pun

Tzhim Pun moved all in from the button for 420,000 and was called by Ivan Millian in the small blind.

Tzhim Pun: Q8
Ivan Millian: A10

The flop of A52 gave Millian top pair, but also gave Pun a flush draw. The Q on the turn gave Pun additional outs. He could hit any queen, eight or club to win the pot, but instead the 2 landed on the river to give Millian aces and deuces and sent Pun to the rail.

Jimmy Setna Eliminated in 17th ($10,127)

Level 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Jimmy Setna
Jimmy Setna

Kane Kalas raised and Jimmy Setna made the call in the big blind. The duo went to see a flop 856 and Setna check-called Kalas for 230,000.

Things heated on the J turn. After another check from Setna, Kalas fired 685,000 into the pot. Setna tanked for two minutes before moving all in and Kalas snap-called with a total stack worth 2,235,000:

Jimmy Setna: 107
Kane Kalas: JJ

Setna was left looking to hit his straight draws, facing a set of jacks in Kalas' hands, but bricked the A river. After the dealer confirmed that Setna had slightly less chips than Kalas, he made his way to the payout desk.

"Oh, That's Easy To Beat"

Level 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Arnold Spee
Arnold Spee

Arnold Spee jammed in early position for his last 365000 and got called by a player to his direct left.

Action folded around to Quoc Le who three-bet jammed for well over 2,000,000. The player who had called got out of the way to send the other two players to a runout with Spee at risk.

Arnold Spee: 66
Quoc Le: QQ

When the cards were turned up, Spee said, "Oh, that's easy to beat" and seemed confident that he was going to come from behind and secure over a triple up.

The 559 flop didn't do anything to prove his intuition right, but the 6 turn certainly did.

The river 2 was a blank for Le as Spree secured over a triple up after coming from behind in a big way.

Asher Conniff

Ian Steinman raised on the button to 160,000 and Asher Conniff decided to shove in the big blind for a total stack worth 1,400,000. Steinman immediately called:

Asher Conniff: 44
Ian Steinman: KK

Conniff was in desperate shape for his tournament's life and was ready to leave when the board first showed 7AQ8. However, a 4 showed up on the river to give a set of fours to Conniff to double up.

Lee Hurts Jenkins' Stack

Level 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Kang Hyun Lee raised to 160,000 under the gun and folded to Timothy Jenkins who jammed for a stack around 1,450,000. The rest of the players folded and Lee called all in for 1,270,000:

Kang Hyun Lee: QQ
Timothy Jenkins: 99

Lee didn't find any bad surprise throughout the board 43610J to scoop the pot and double his stack while Jenkins was left with crumbs.

Tristen Nelson moved all in from under the gun for 925,000 and was called by Ricardo Nakamura in the cutoff.

Tristen Nelson: KQ

Le Calls Matsumoto's Bluff

Level 28 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

In a raised pot, the flop was 6Q3 when Quoc Le check-called from the small blind a bet worth 180,000 from Naoki Matsumoto.

The turn brought the A and Le quickly check-called again, this time for 375,000.

When the 6 hit the river, Le check-called a third barrel from Matsumoto for 350,000.

Matsumoto revealed KJ for king-high and Le took down the pot with A7 for a pair of aces.
