Lim Wins Titanic Tussle With Mao for a Million Chips

All of the chips went into the middle preflop with James Lim at risk for 525,000 in the cutoff against Renji Mao in the hijack.

Mao was behind with Big Slick as Lim had cowboys. The flop of J♥9♦3♦ was safe for Lim, but the A♦ gave Mao the lead with top pair.

It did, however, produce a flush draw for Lim, which he hit on the river when the 4♦ was tabled to secure a massive double up and Lim is now among the chip leaders.

All the chips went in the middle preflop between Lindsay Kido in the cutoff and Jimmy Setna in the big blind who was at risk for a stack worth 268,000:

Setna didn't find any bad surprise throughout the board 2♣8♥3♦K♥6♦ to get the double up while Kido crumbled down to only 20,000 chips left and busted the hand right after.

Morozovs Gets A River Fold

Cole Ferraro raised to 25,000 from late position and got a call from Mihails Morozovs on the button. The big blind came along as well to see the 10♠7♣J♦ flop.

All three players checked through to see the A♠ hit the turn.

The big blind checked and Ferraro tossed out a bet of 40,000. Morozovs called and the big blind got out of the way to bring the 10♦ out on the river.

Ferraro bet out again, this time for 20,000, but Morozovs decided that wasn't enough as he used both hands to move 115,000 out into the middle.

Ferraro verified the amount and went into a short tank. After about 90 seconds, he slid his cards toward the muck and Morozovs collected the pot.

Kazuo Yamamoto raised to 25,000 and Egor Procop three-bet to 115,000, with only 6,000 behind. It came back to Yamamoto who shoved and Procop went into the tank. He ended up calling after the clock had been called:

Naoki Matsumoto bet 24,000 from under the gun and was shoved on by Yang Zhang in middle position for 128,000. Masato Horiuchi in the hijack made the cold call, while Matsumoto elected to fold.

Zhang was an overwhelming underdog in the Big Slick versus Little Slick battle, but a queen on the flop on the board of Q♠6♠4♥J♠8♣ gave Zhang the double up.
