Horn Busts Piper With Quad Kings Versus Aces Full
Level 3
: Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Easily the biggest bad beat of the tournament so far took place at Table 642. Steven Piper had A♦A♣ on a board of K♠A♠4♣K♥7♦, losing to only one holding, and that is the K♦K♣ that Gary Horn held for quads.
"That's about how my summer's been going," Piper said glumly after taking the tremendous beat as players headed to dinner break.
