Bellande Does One Dirty
Level 4
: Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
From the sounds of the table talk, Jean-Robert Bellande and Clayton Hardt got all of the chips in the middle on the turn with Bellande being the player at risk for 13,200. The board read J♠9♣6♦K♠ and there was already around 35,000 in the middle prior to the turn.
Jean-Robert Bellande: 8♥7♦
Clayton Hardt: K♥J♠
Hardt made two pair to hold a strong lead, but the 10♦ on the river gave Bellande a straight in order to double up back to a starting stack.
"Sometimes when you're a pro, you just get lucky," Bellande started yammering after the hand. "Daniel and Phil have been doing that to me for years. You played it well. When you're a pro, you'll do that to someone else."
