There was a raise to 1,000 from under the gun which a player in the hijack called. Maria Ho also came along from the big blind and the dealer fanned the flop of A♠7♣3♥. Ho checked to the player on her left who bet 1,800 and Ho was the only one to call.
The turn was the 10♠ and both players checked to the A♣ on the river. Ho checked again and her opponent announced a bet of 3,500. Ho mulled it over and then made the call. Her opponent tabled K♥Q♦ for king-high but Ho held 7♦4♦ for two pair.
