Merrick Only Bluffs Once, Allegedly

Baker Abdallah raised from the hijack and called a subsequent three-bet to 5,500 by cutoff Andrew Merrick.
The flop was fanned out 8♠5♣2♦ and Merrick continued for 6,500 after a check from Abdallah. The latter then called and the 9♦ turn hit the felt.
Merrick now upped the ante to 15,000 after another check from his opponent, and again Abdallah called. The 9♠ river completed the board and Abdallah checked for a third time.
This time, Merrick put out a big bet of 32,000 chips. Abdallah quickly folded and Merrick showed his 10♣7♣ for just ten-high.
"This is my only bluff of the day," Merrick claimed as he was stacking his new chips.
