Kim Rivers the Bust Out
Level 7
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
The big blind bet 5,000 on a board of 4♥9♠7♠Q♣. Ravee Sundara folded from late position, and Lowell Kim reraised to 11,000, enough to put the big blind all in.
The big blind tanked with his Main Event life on the line, fidgeting with his ear buds. Faced with no real alternative, he put in the call. He showed Qx9x for two pair, and Kim K♠J♠ for the straight and flush draw.
The river brought the 6♠ and another player found a Day 2 exit.
