Murthy Shoves on Asselin as the Minutes Tick By
Level 11
: Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Samuel Asselin three-bet to 32,000 from the cutoff before Neel Murthy, in the hijack, reraised to 85,000. Asselin spent nearly five minutes in the tank before calling to the J♣10♣9♦ flop.
It was then Murthy's turn to sit motionless for several minutes to the point that tablemate Nick Guagenti had to ask whose turn it was. Murthy eventually slid forward 200,000, enough to put Asselin all in.
Asselin again tanked for several minutes until another tablemate finally called the clock. He let the countdown reach zero before mucking K♠K♦.
Murthy claimed to have had A♣K♣ as he dragged in the pot that took more than 10 minutes without going past the flop.
