Tom Dwan Goes Down to Aces
Level 13
: Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Tom Dwan opened early to 10,000 with K♠5♠, then called a three-bet from Brian Atchison to 25,000 in the hijack with the rockets. The flop came 3♦10♠J♠ and Dwan check-called a 55,000 bet into a pot of 60,000.
The 5♦ hit the turn, and Dwan once again checked to Atchison, who made it 110,000. Dwan check-shoved with his pair and flush draw, but Atchison nearly beat him into the pot with his aces. The 10♥ river couldn't save Dwan and he hit the rail from the feature table.
