A player in middle position raised to 13,000 before Niall Farrell three-bet to 55,000 from the big blind. His opponent called and they went heads-up to a 2♦9♠7♠ flop.
Farrell continued for 60,000 and his opponent tanked for a few minutes before calling. The turn came the J♣ and Farrell checked.
His opponent quickly checked back and the K♣ fell on the river. The action was again checked through and Farrell turned over Q♣Q♦ to win the pot.
"Bad runout for queens," a tablemate told him.
"I was like, I can beat jacks, then a jack. Well, I can beat ace-king, then a king," Farrell replied.
