Pham Poised to Chop, Instead Scoops a Double
Level 28
: Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Cong Pham moved all in for 1,735,000 from under the gun and Pierpaola Lamanna had him at risk from the big blind.
Cong Pham: A♦K♠
Pierpaola Lamanna: A♠Q♣
The board ran out 5♣5♠3♠3♣, giving both players two pair with an ace-kicker. The river, though, came the K♥ and Pham made kings and fives to earn a double up.
