Obregon Leaves Auer Frustrated on the River
Level 28
: Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Bryan Obregon opened to 250,000 with 5♠5♥ and received calls by Maurice Hawkins holding A♥10♥ and big blind Matthias Auer with 6♣4♣.
All three players checked the 3♦4♦7♠ flop before Auer led out for 580,000 on the 4♠ turn after making trips. Obregon called while Hawkins got out of the way.
The 5♦ river improved Auer to a straight, but also gave Obregon a full house. Auer bet another 290,000 and Obregon then moved all in.
Auer shook his head in frustration as he pondered the call for his last 1,300,000 before folding.
