Jachtmann Out-Kicks Pham
Level 33
: Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Cong Pham raised to 900,000 on the button with 8♦5♦ and was called by Ryan Tosoc, who had A♠7♠. Jan-Peter Jachtmann called from the big blind with J♣5♣. The flop fell 5♠5♥3♥ and the blinds checked to Pham, who bet 1,200,000. Both Tosoc and Jachtmann called to see the Q♣ on the turn.
The blinds checked again and Pham fired out another bet of 2,200,000. Tosoc folded this time but Jachtmann check-raised to 5,200,000. Pham called and the 10♥ completed the board.
Jachtmann checked and Pham gave it some thought but checked it back. Jachtmann tabled J♣5♣ for trip fives and Pham flashed the 5♦ before mucking his hand.
