Guerin Flops Set To Eliminate Opponent

The action was picked up when a player in middle position slid out 305,000, leaving only 20,000 behind. Sasha Guerin made the call next to act and the rest of the table got out of the way.

The dealer fanned out a flop of K♣Q♥7♥ and the middle position player checked to Guerin who put in enough chips to cover the opponents remaining stack.

The middle position player went deep in the tank to sweat the upcoming pay jump, but after over a minute, the table called the clock and the floor was called over. As the 30 second clock ticked down, the middle position player put in their remaining chips and the cards were on their backs.

Both players flopped the world, but Guerin was well in the lead with his set of queens. The board ran out 7♠J♣ and the queens held up to score the pot for Guerin and send his opponent to the rail.

Richard Seymour opened the action with a raise to 27,000 with the A♥J♦, picking up calls from Andrew Wu with the Q♦J♣, Boutros Awad in the small blind with the 2♠2♦ and Sebastin Kolman who held the K♥7♥ in the big blind.

It checked to Wu who bet 55,000 and Awad check-raised to 185,000. Kolman and Seymour got out of the way and Wu also folded his top pair.

Chris Brewer and Luubao Nguyen had created a massive pot of 440,000 chips before the river had been dealt. Once it had been, the board read 8♣9♠Q♦K♥3♠ and Nguyen checked to Brewer.

Brewer then concocted an overbet of 500,000 and put it in the middle. This sent Nguyen into a deep tank that lasted for several minutes. The entire table watched in silence as the tension was palpable.

Finally, Nguyen decided to let go, shipping the pot to Brewer.

On a board of 8♥4♠2♥8♣, Ludovic Geilich bet out 28,000 and Ryan Brown made the call.

The 8♦ rolled off on the river, putting three of a kind on board, and Geilich flicked in another bet, this time 98,000. Brown took his time and eventually made the call.

Geilich tabled A♦Q♠, and it was good as Brown mucked his hand.

The next three-way pot to the K♠3♠3♥ flop saw Juan Maceiras Lapido bet 25,000 with the A♣Q♣. Andrew Wu raised to 50,000 with the K♦10♠ and Stephen Chidwick folded the 5♦5♥ while Maceiras Lapido called.

That brought them to the Q♠ turn on which Maceiras Lapido check-folded to a bet worth 100,000, flashing his queen. Wu returned the favour and showed one of his cards as well.

A player in the hijack opened to 28,000 and received calls from David Cossio-Ruiz on the button, Heather Alcorn in the small blind and a player in the big blind.

Action checked around to Cossio-Ruiz, who bet 35,000 on the 6♠7♠K♠ flop. Alcorn folded, the big blind folded and the hijack made the call.

The turn came the 9♣. The hijack led for 150,000 and Cossio-Ruiz responded by moving all in, forcing a fold from his opponent and taking down a nice pot without showdown.

Stephen Chidwick opened to 27,000 with the A♥J♥ in late position and Richard Seymour called on the button with the K♠9♠, Andrew Wu came along in the big blind with the 3♠2♥. The 7♥5♠4♠ flop was checked to Seymour, who bet 45,000.

Only Wu called with "The Diaper", the favourite hand of Nicholas Rigby. Wu led the 6♠ turn for 70,000 when he hit the straight and Seymour called with the king-high flush. That brought them to the A♦ river and Wu slowed down, checking over to the NFL All Star.

Seymour pondered about his sizing for a while and bet 180,000 into 319,000 for Wu to call rather swiftly.

Darryl Ronconi opened to 30,000 from middle position and received calls from a player in late position, the button, and the big blind.

Action checked to Ronconi on a flop of 7♣2♦J♣ and he continued for 75,000. That got folds from the late position player and big blind but the button made the call to see a turn.

Both players checked through the 8♣ turn to the 6♦ river at which point Ronconi pushed a bet of 150,000 into the middle. His opponent thought for quite some time but did find a fold to send the pot to Ronconi who flashed A♠A♣ as he raked in his newly acquired chips.

Connor Rash raised from the hijack to 25,000, getting one caller from the player in the big blind.

The flop came J♣7♦K♣ and the big blind check-called a bet of 15,000 from Rash.

The turned 3♦ checked through to the 3♣ on the river. The big blind checked once more and Rash put out a bet of 50,000.

Rash's opponent spent nearly two minutes in the tank before deciding to make the call. Rash tabled J♦10♦ and his opponent tossed their cards into the muck.
