Yau's Pair Enough

Level 11 : Blinds 200/400, 50 ante

Ethan "Rampunts" Yau raised to 800 under the gun. His minimum raise was called by three players - Robert "SuperUser33" Tanita from the hijack, "jaxorbetter" from the small blind, and Melanie "KFoundation" Weisner from the big blind.

The flop came 3A4, leading to four checks. The 9 turn prompted a bet from Yau, who put out 1,200. Tanita called, while the other two players folded.

Both remaining players then checked the Q river. Yau showed 98, and his turned pair was enough to take down the pot.
