Williams Wins With Cold Deck

Jeremy Geist
Jeremy Geist
Level 13 : Blinds 800/1,600, 160 ante

Zachary "Kings702" Grech opened under the gun to 3,200 and action folded to Jeremiah "freestylerr" Williams who three-bet to 8,800. Action then made it back to Grech who four-bet jammed having Williams covered. Williams snap called.

The cards were tabled.

Jeremiah "freestylerr" Williams: K♦K♥
Zachary "Kings702" Grech: Q♣Q♠

The A♠K♠8♦ flop gave Williams middle set but he was not out of the woods yet. Grech had multiple backdoor opportunities. The Q♦ turn would all but seal the deal as Grech was now just drawing to the case queen. The 3♠ river would not improve Grech and he would lose a monster pot to the two time bracelet winner.
