David Moskowitz had opened under the gun when Patrick Leonard three-bet to 2,500 on the button. The action folded back to Moskowitz, who flicked in a call.
The flop was dealt 10♥8♦3♣, on which Leonard continued for another 2,500 chips. Moskowitz check-called before leading out for 10,000 on the J♣ turn.
Leonard tanked for a bit but decided to call for the 4♦ river to complete the board. Moskowitz piled in 25,500 chips and Leonard entered another small tank.
Eventually, he decided to put in the required chips for a call, after which Moskowitz showed A♣K♠K♣4♥2♣ for the nut low with a pair of kings. Leonard played the same low with A♦J♠10♣7♦2♠, but his two pair won him the high part of the pot, much to his surprise.
