Mizrachi Believes Linde

Level 14

Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Dylan Linde raised on the button before Robert Mizrachi defended his big blind. Mizrachi decided to draw three cards while Linde only needed one.

Mizrachi then check-called a bet and tossed one card on the second draw. Linde followed suit and the same betting sequence happened.

Both players stood pat on the final draw, but after Linde placed one more bet, Mizrachi laid down his hand and granted the pot to his opponent.

Level 14
Ray Fishman
Ray Fishman

Badugi

"Phil, remember that chapter you wrote about stack preservation? I might need you to give me a few lessons," a short-stacked Ray Fishman said to tablemate Phil Hellmuth.

Fishman then got around 25,000 in the middle against Robert Wells on the first draw. Both players took one, then Wells drew one while Fishman stood pat.

Wells took one more on the last draw and Fishman stood pat, turning over 863A for a Badugi. Wells had 872 and was already drawing dead as Fishman doubled up.

"Be honest, Daniel. You were rooting against me," Fishman said to Daniel Negreanu.

"I'm not rooting against anybody. I'm rooting for me," Negreanu replied.

Paul Volpe and Ben Yu weren't as fortunate, as they have both been eliminated.
